Located less than two miles from Lake Erie, Paper Moon benefits from the moderating climate the lake provides. This property lies in a region known for its flourishing vineyards and the remnants of an old concord vineyard can still be found near the entrance.

November 15th-Matus Winery

Matus Winery is located on the 75-year-old Matus Farm in Wakeman, Ohio. Enjoy our award winning wines while relaxing and taking in the picturesque views of the vineyard and countryside.

Visitors can enjoy wine tasting in our beautiful, 1900’s style show room as well as tour the vineyard and wine-making room.

In the evening, you can stay warm by our outdoor fire pit or watch the sunset from the romantic, lantern lit veranda. Matus Winery brings out the simpler pleasures of life that only the countryside can offer. The winemaker, Bob Matus, and his family are also on hand to answer any questions and give personal tours.
